mtg crime cards // Punishment (textured foil) (borderless) you may pay 2 life MTG Crime - All cards
Description
It was clear from the start that double-faced cards representing villains was the most exciting thing to do

The thing is, a whopping eight mana for indestructible isnt what it used to be, and we all know how receptive people arent to mass land destruction and Worldslayer wins

The last time we had a ban in Commander was the relatively large banning in September 2024 when Dockside Extortionist, Jeweled Lotus, Mana Crypt, and Nadu, Winged Wisdom were all banned, and which ultimately lead to the dissolution of the Commander Rules Committee and Commander Advisory Group, and control of the format moving entirely over to Wizards

If you are a collector, not for playing with the cards but for keeping them, this card art is beautiful and shows a powerful version of the Princess from The Beauty And The Beast

What cards will revolutionize the format, and what old favorites will resurface

-sigh- Commanders emphasis on color identity in deckbuilding has successfully kept Krrik, Son of Yawgmoth from being a huge problem in the format as a whole, but its still a powerhouse that should be removed or countered on sight against decks with a large or exclusive emphasis on black, as 4 mana can easily become as much as 16, more if life gain enters the equation
